    Dyslexia In The Studio Research Report

    Move Beyond Words commissioned research to support dyslexic dance and theatre practitioners to help:

    ●  Understand how best to support dyslexic performers, especially in the audition and job application process.

    ●  Develop guidelines to help choreographers, casting directors, agents and teachers to appreciate and include neurodivergent performers.

ProblemShared is an online mind health platform. We are a practitioner‑led, CQC-regulated community of experts, working together with individuals and organisations such as NHS trusts and integrated care boards, universities, insurers, and private medical healthcare providers.

We provide access to the highest-quality mental healthcare services and neurodevelopmental assessments for autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and specific learning difficulties, as well as post-diagnostic care and support.

UK SOFTWARE & HARDWARE FUNDING

  • Access to Work

    Access to Work can help you get or stay in work if you have a physical or mental health condition or disability.

    The support you get will depend on your needs. Through Access to Work, you can apply for:

    a grant to help pay for practical support with your work

    support with managing your mental health at work

    money to pay for communication support at job interviews

    Disabled Students' Allowance

    Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) is support to cover the study-related costs you have because of a mental health problem, long-term illness or any other disability.

    This can be on its own or in addition to any student finance you get.

    The type of support and how much you get depends on your individual needs - not your household income.
